P020 Cosmetic Dermatology Innovations: From Topicals to Injectables & Devices
DESCRIPTION
This session will discuss new advances in cosmetic devices, injectables, and topicals. Both new indications for current products, as well as new products just launched over the past year will be reviewed. In addition, recent publications with the most impact on a cosmetic dermatology practice will be analyzed with key take-away points for dermatologists to bring back to improve both the safety and efficacy of treatments in their practice. New cosmetic clinical trials and future cosmetic products projected to be available over the next year will be explored to give insight on the future of cosmetic dermatology. Finally, we will explore how the Metaverse may be the new virtual place in which we communicate with patients and colleagues in the future.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Describe advances in cosmetic injectables and devices over the last year including new indications and new products as well as discuss innovations yet to come.
Identify recent research that has the most impact on cosmetic dermatology and examine how it effects the way we practice.
