BIOGRAPHY

Mara Dacso, MS, MS, a native Texan, is a dual board-certified dermatologist and dermatopathologist and Director of Cosmetics at Innovative Dermatology in Plano, Texas. She has been an adjunct faculty member at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Dermatology. Dr. Dacso is passionate about dermatology education, research, and leadership at both the state and national levels. Her clinical and research interests include general medical and cosmetic dermatology, as well as being a national expert in the histopathologic diagnosis of leprosy. She is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Dermatology, Vice President-elect and board member of the Texas Dermatological Society and holds professional memberships with the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the American Society of Dermatopathology, the Women’s Dermatologic Society, and the International Society of Dermatology.
