DESCRIPTION

Developed by Teledermatology Committee and supported by the Augmented Intelligence Committee and Council on Practice Management, this comprehensive session will allow dermatologists to move to the forefront of teledermatology. We will explore patient and provider satisfaction data and its impact on the demand and utilization of virtual care, assess the impact of regulatory policies on teledermatology and how to be compliant, and teach strategies for successful telehealth billing and reimbursement. Attendees will examine real-world cases to define high-yield uses of teledermatology for effective patient care and identify AAD advocacy priorities for telehealth in the post-pandemic era. Finally, we will prepare practicing dermatologists for the future by highlighting potential uses of augmented intelligence and other emerging technologies to overcome practice inefficiencies.
