BIOGRAPHY
Donato Ceres has over two decades of multidisciplinary experience spanning nanotechnology, electrochemical sensing, and translational science. He currently serves as Chief Science Officer at NovaScan Inc., where he leads the scientific and technical development of impedance-based diagnostic technologies for real-time cancer detection. At NovaScan, he oversees the design and clinical deployment of the bioelectrical impedance spectroscopy platform capable of differentiating malignant from benign tissues across various anatomical sites, including lung, breast, pancreas, skin, and gastrointestinal tract. These systems integrate advanced signal processing and machine learning, providing rapid, non-destructive feedback during biopsy and surgical excision procedures to improve early cancer detection and intraoperative margin assessment.
