BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Ally-Khan Somani is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs micrographic and reconstructive surgeon. He serves as Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology and Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at Indiana University and is Director of Mohs Surgery at SkinMD in Chicago. A graduate of the University of Toronto’s MD/PhD program, Dr. Somani completed dermatology residency at Case Western Reserve and fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic. He previously led the ACGME-accredited Mohs Surgery Fellowship at IU. Dr. Somani has authored over 70 peer-reviewed publications and is a lead investigator in multicenter studies on gene expression profiling in skin cancer. He lectures nationally and internationally on complex reconstruction, surgical innovation, and high-risk cutaneous oncology.
