BIOGRAPHY
Jeffrey M. Cohen, MD is an Assistant Professor of Dermatology and Biomedical Informatics and Data Science at the Yale School of Medicine, where he serves as the Director of the Psoriasis Treatment Program. Dr. Cohen’s primary clinical focus is inflammatory skin diseases, such as psoriasis and atopic dermatitis. He is particularly interested in the use of novel therapeutics and treatment resistant disease. Dr. Cohen’s research efforts are devoted to the epidemiology of inflammatory skin diseases and he uses large databases to better understand associations between diseases like psoriasis and eczema and other disorders. He is also actively engaged in translational research to further elucidate the immunologic underpinnings of inflammatory skin diseases. Dr. Cohen is a graduate of Harvard Medical School. He completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, MA and his dermatology residency within The Ronald O. Perelman Department of Dermatology at the NYU School of Medicine. He is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Cohen serves on the Editorial Board of the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology and as a Senior Editor of the Journal of Psoriasis and Psoriatic Arthritis. He is also on the Medical Board of the National Psoriasis Foundation and is a Councilor for the International Psoriasis Council.
