BIOGRAPHY

Shamir Geller, MD is a dermatologist who specializes in caring for patients with cutaneous lymphoma at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. In his clinic, Dr Geller partners with medical oncologists, pathologists, radiation oncologists, and other experts to provide his patients with comprehensive care. Dr. Geller research focus on the incidence and prognosis of skin lymphoma in specific populations (ethnic, and elderly, and pediatric groups), as well as its association with other medical conditions and therapies. He is constantly looking for new ways to enhance how we diagnose cutaneous lymphoma. This includes understanding new prognostic factors that may be useful for patient care. Dr Geller is firmly committed to education by tutoring the next generation of dermatologists at MSKCC and by sharing his knowledge and experience with colleagues outside of MSKCC. He enjoy teaching and mentoring fellows, residents, and students in the clinic and in research projects. Dr Geller has served as an invited speaker at national and international dermatology meetings, and he is also the author of numerous peer-reviewed journal research articles.
