BIOGRAPHY
Christiane Querfeld, MD, PhD is a board-certified dermatologist and dermatopathologist who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of cutaneous lymphoma. She is a Professor and Director of the Cutaneous Lymphoma Program at City of Hope Comprehensive Cancer Center. She divides her time between a busy weekly clinic, her dermatopathology practice, and her research laboratory. Her research focuses on the complex network of cells that supports the tumor microenvironment in CTCL, to develop novel therapies for these diseases, and she serves as Principal Investigator on several clinical Phase I and II trials of CTCL. Dr. Querfeld has authored over 170 peer-reviewed articles, reviews, and book chapters in the field of cutaneous lymphoma. She has obtained extramural grants from the National Cancer Institute, Leukemia Lymphoma Society and the Israel Cancer Research Fund.
