P023 What's Hot in Pigmentary Disorders
DESCRIPTION
This session will allow the attendee to better understand the physiological and diagnostic challenges of patients experiencing melasma. In addition, new research from global studies will be incorporated to allow the participant to fully approach these diseases from a comprehensive perspective. Differential diagnosis will be emphasized by sharing a variety of case studies to illustrate diagnostic and therapeutic pearls and challenges.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Diagnose, evaluate, and effectively assess patients suffering from melasma
Formulate treatment regimens for melasma patients by incorporating topical, systemic and procedural treatments to help with diagnosis and management.
Utilize clinical cases to show the complex nature of melasma, and also incorporate scientific literature allowing the newest and latest treatments.
