BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Olivia Lucero is a physician scientist specializing in the management, treatment and research of skin cancer at Oregon Health & Science University. She is double board certified in Dermatology and Mohs micrographic surgery and acts as the Associate Director of the High-Risk Non-Melanoma Skin Cancer Clinic at OHSU and the Director of Dermatologic Surgery at the Portland VA. Dr. Lucero has over a decade of basic and translational science experience, completing a research fellowship with Howard Hughes Medical Institute under the mentorship of Randy Moon, PhD, and a post-doctoral fellowship in the laboratory of Brian Druker, MD. Currently, she runs a lab at Knight Cancer Institute focused on the development and application of targeted therapeutics for T-cell lymphoma and high-risk squamous cell cancer and also works on clinical trials at OHSU. Ultimately, she strives to use her expertise in scientific research to empower and improve care for her patients.
