BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Amy MacDonald is a licensed clinical psychologist in private practice in Batavia Illinois. Her professional services include: Assessment and psychotherapy with individuals, couples, and families; professional, personal, and parenting coaching; consultation with business, religious, educational, and healthcare organizations to assess strengths and challengess with organizational processes, structure, personality issues, and communication; and speaking, workshops, and presentations specifically designed to address the needs of each particular group. Dr. MacDonald earned her doctorate in clinical psychology in 1995 and has worked in mental health since 1988. She trained at Loyola University Medical Center, Northwestern Memorial Hospital, and Provena-Mercy Medical Center. She is currently writing books on parenting and understanding human motivation. Dr. MacDonald lives with her husband in Batavia, Illinois, where they raised their five children.
