DESCRIPTION
The field of dermatology is changing at a rapid pace. In this session, four experts will summarize new innovations and ideas related to the treatment and understanding of complex medical dermatologic disorders. We will spend time looking at hidradenitis suppurativa, supportive oncodermatology, graft versus host disease, and pruritus/eczematous dermatitis. This will be a fast paced and eclectic collection of pearls for the practicing dermatologist.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Describe changes in our understanding of the pathophysiology of complex dermatologic conditions, such as hidradenitis suppurativa, graft-vs-host disease, and eczematous dermatitis/pruritus.
Formulate treatment options for complex dermatology problems, taking the patient's underlying immune status into account.
Recognize areas for future growth as a specialty and individually.
