DESCRIPTION

This session will cover and review the broad spectrum of dermatoscopic findings in melanocytic and non-melanocytic neoplasms with an emphasis on practical application in daily clinical practice. The course will review and provide examples of all the major dermatoscopic findings of melanocytic nevi and melanoma, as well as dermatoscopic findings of common clinically relevant non-melanocytic skin neoplasms. The course will also address site-specific lesions, provide classic examples, and discuss complex cases and mimickers. To reinforce learning, the session includes interactive sessions with unknown cases, allowing attendees to apply their knowledge and skills in diagnosing based on the material presented.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Identify the dermatoscopic features of common benign and malignant non-melanocytic neoplasms.
Identify the major dermatoscopic patterns of benign and malignant melanocytic neoplasms.
Recognize the clinical and histopathologic correlates of the major dermatoscopic structures.
