S010 Clinicopathologic Self-assessment
DESCRIPTION
Open admission to eligible categories, no tuition or ticket
Correlation of clinical information with the histopathologic findings is crucial in arriving at an accurate diagnosis and effectively managing patients. The session is designed to share the clinical on histopathologic findings of interesting or challenging cases while giving the audience members the opportunity to formulate a differential diagnosis and share their favored diagnosis through the audience response system. The goal is to enhance clinical pathologic correlation and improve diagnostic yield and efficiency with classic and atypical presentations of inflammatory, infectious and neoplastic cutaneous diseases. Common clinicopathologic pitfalls will be highlighted. This activity has been approved by the American Board of Dermatology (ABD) for up to 30 Continuing Certification Program (CCP) Component 2 Self-Assessment points. For more information about CCP, please visit the ABD website at www.abderm.org.
