U103 Staging, Work-up and Management of High Risk Cutaneous Squamous Cell Carcinoma
DESCRIPTION
Open admission to eligible categories, no tuition or ticket
You will learn how to accurately stage patients with high risk cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) and determine other factors beyond staging that can be important for prognosis, including genomic considerations. We will review appropriate pre/peri-operative imaging modalities. Lastly, we will discuss surgical approaches and multi-disciplinary management, including the latest updates on sentinel lymph node biopsy, radiation and systemic therapies, and offer case-based examples.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Accurately stage high risk cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma and consider additional prognostic factors.
Determine Pre/peri-operative imaging indications and modalities.
Assess the various surgical considerations and multidisciplinary approaches.
