Frontal fibrosing alopecia (FFA) is a relatively newly described disease which is now commonly seen in medical dermatology and hair disease clinics. This session will review the current landscape of what we know about frontal fibrosing alopecia, the role of cosmetic procedures and sunscreens in FFA patients as well as new technologies to both study, treat and monitor this disease. Treatment algorithms for patients with newly diagnosed and those with extensive burnt out disease will be discussed. The session will conclude with case presentations by hair disease experts.
