Botulinum Toxin use has advanced significantly since its introduction in aesthetics. There are currently multiple choices of BNTA products and evolving indications and uses. This forum aims to examine where we came from and what is new in understanding our clinical use of neuromodulators. We will present data on the similarities and differences in those drugs both available and soon to be available, as well as new injection techniques and potential indications. Reconstitution variations and psychosocial impacts on patients will also be highlighted.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Discriminate between the various neuromodulators on the market
Determine ideal injection locations and anatomic safety zones to obtain the maximum efficacy
