F029 Considerations in Allergic Contact Dermatitis in Children

This forum will be led to national and international experts on allergic contact dermatitis in children. During these 2 hours, we will discuss all facets of allergic contact dermatitis in children including: 1) The most up to date data on prevalence of contact allergens in children published by the North American Contact Dermatitis Group and other international study groups 2) Top 10 trending allergens and allergens of the year. More importantly we will discuss where they are found and how to avoid them. 3) We will discuss and demonstrate patch testing in children through the use of photos and videos 4) Interactive cases utilizing ARS will lead the audience through several challenging cases of pediatric allergic contact dermatitis, from deciding when to patch test, to then solution, will capstone the session. The session is meant for general dermatologists, pediatric dermatologists, and patch testing dermatologists interested to learn more about pediatric allergic contact dermatitis.
