DESCRIPTION
Open admission to eligible categories, no tuition or ticket
This Certification Exam Prep Course is a hands-on experience where attendees take a simulated, at home, shortened version of the American Board of Dermatology certification APPLIED exam. The at home exam is designed to increase their comfort with the exam format, while practicing time management, and identifying areas of weakness in their knowledge base. During the sessions at the annual meeting, expert faculty will review the answers of the exam, providing high yield information for the certification applied exam. Residents attending this course should walk away with a better understanding of the pace and structure of the exam.
This activity has been approved by the American Board of Dermatology (ABD) for up to 30 Continuing Certification Program (CCP) Component 2 Self-Assessment points. For more information about CCP, please visit the ABD website at www.abderm.org.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Identify strengths and weaknesses in one’s knowledge base for the APPLIED exam and review high-yield exam relevant material.
Acquire experience with the format of the APPLIED exam.
Implement time management techniques pertinent to a timed exam.
