This session will address the role of nutrition in skin health. The latest evidence-based medical nutrition therapies will be discussed in the context of specific dietary strategies that can be used to guide patients toward improving nutritional status and skin and hair health.

Discuss the role of specific nutrients in maintaining skin and scalp homeostasis
Identify and examine the role of dietary patterns in the development and/or exacerbation of dermatological conditions
