DESCRIPTION

Open admission to eligible categories, no tuition or ticket

Since inception, the AAD's clinical data registry, DataDerm, has collected data on over 50 million patient encounters with the goal of promoting the highest standards in clinical practice and research, including addressing disparities in dermatologic care. Session speakers will describe the patient journey in generalized pustular psoriasis with the goal of early diagnosis and treatment. An innovative artificial intelligence tool that allows identification of undiagnosed patients will be discussed. Experts will describe how predictive analytics can decrease patient suffering by preventing misdiagnosis and inappropriate, costly treatment.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

1.

Describe the patient journey in generalized pustular psoriasis, with an emphasis on recognition of signs and symptoms for an early diagnosis and treatment intervention

2.

Review the power of predictive analytics in identifying undiagnosed patients to reduce patient suffering and unnecessary treatment costs related to misdiagnosis.
