DESCRIPTION

Sweating too much or not sweating at all, have these patients stumped you? Come with us on a journey to explore these polar opposites. We will delve into their causes, the genetic syndromes, the drug related issues, trying to stay relevant to your daily practice. Treatment options for both hyper and hypohidrosis patients will be covered including pills, shots, machines and topicals. By the end of the hour you won't even have broken into a sweat! We promise!

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

1.

Identify causes of sweating: genetic, pathological, and drug induced.

2.

Evaluate and categorize treatments for adults and children with hyperhidrosis. Special mention of new products will be made.

3.

Diagnose and treat syndromes that result in too little sweating. Amazing in utero treatments for ectodermal dysplasias to be shown.
