This course is intended for dermatologists with a strong foundation in laser-tissue interaction. An expert selection of physicians across the field of medical and cosmetic dermatology will explore advanced topics in laser surgery including strategies for improvement of both clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction. Old favorites in conjunction with innovative, field altering new technologies will be discussed alongside a corresponding glance into the future of the field. This educational session will serve to sharpen understanding of the current treatment options and their proper use as well as provide a unique expert insight into where to watch in the coming years.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Discuss the latest research in laser, light, and other energy-based devices both in medical and aesthetic dermatology, including the use of laser assisted delivery, advanced imaging, and microcoring, and the future directions of laser and energy-based technology and their impact on dermatology.
Discuss in depth both new and emerging technologies in laser and light treatment; historic standards and how they’ve changed in an evolving field. Highlights include new vascular laser, skin tightening and treatment of NMSC with lasers.
