F082 Leadership Institute: Thriving in Chaos: Strategies to Get Control of your Time and Your Life
DESCRIPTION
Open admission to eligible categories, no tuition or ticket
Stop the world, I want to get off! This title of a 1960’s musical has never been more true than today. Workloads, interruptions, busy family lives, email/texting, and social media seem to conspire together to rob of us productivity and much needed “me” time. We’re supposed to practice resiliency and maintain our ability to bounce back from adversity. Who has time to work on that? However, we all know colleagues who are busy yet organized, whose desks are uncluttered, and who appear to be thriving. How do they do it? Experts say that adopting one new habit will make a big difference. This session will provide an opportunity to review and apply some time-honored strategies, as well as a few new ones, to the factors that make our lives feel out of control. This activity has been approved by the American Board of Dermatology (ABD) for up to 20 Continuous Certification Program (CCP) Component 2 Self-Assessment points. For more information about CCP, please visit the ABD website at www.abderm.org
