During the session we will discuss the latest role of medical therapy to optimize density from hair transplantation including - PRP, low level light therapy, oral and topical minoxidil and finasteride. Elliptical donor harvesting vs FUE whether manual, mechanical or robotic will be reviewed. Optimal candidate selection for each technique will be discussed. Ergonomics, anesthesia, and instrumentation will be reviewed for multi hour comfort of both patient and surgical team. Hair transplantation for reconstructive surgery, eyebrow restoration, and scarring alopecia will be reviewed. This session is for both beginner and advanced hair transplant dermatologic surgeons.
