DESCRIPTION
Open admission to eligible categories, no tuition or ticket
Patients seek aid in correcting a cosmetic issue; however, many problems have underlying medical etiologies that must be addressed as well as the cosmetic correction in order to achieve a successful recovery. Both aspects of these problems will be discussed and cases will be presented.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Manage problems with medical origins and cosmetic symptoms appropriately.
Distinguish between a sole cosmetic problem and one with an underlying medical etiology that must be addressed in order to best treat the patient.
Choose an appropriate treatment modality to address both the medical and cosmetic etiology.
