DESCRIPTION

Open admission to eligible categories, no tuition or ticket

Interesting cases in dermatopathology, surgical dermatology, complex medical dermatology and pediatric dermatology collected from the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics are presented to highlight everyday practice "pearls" for the general dermatologist. This activity has been approved by the American Board of Dermatology (ABD) for up to 10 Continuous Certification Program (CCP) Component 2 Self-Assessment points. LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Appreciate the importance of clinicopathologic correlation in the work-up and diagnosis of complex cutaneous disease.

Recognize the need for a multidisciplinary approach to treating patients with complex cutaneous disease.

Identify clinical pearls from challenging medical dermatology, pediatric dermatology, dermatopathology, and dermatologic surgery cases.
