DESCRIPTION

Open admission to eligible categories, no tuition or ticket

This session will focus on diagnosing melanoma using dermoscopy, including an overview of melanoma features, amelanotic/hypomelanotic melanoma, melanoma on sun-damaged skin, and acral melanoma.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

1.

Recognize features of melanoma, including amelanotic and hypomelanotic melanoma

2.

Identify melanoma on the face and sun damaged skin (lentigo maligna and lentigo maligna melanoma)

3.

Differentiate between acral melanoma and benign lesions on the hands/feet
