DESCRIPTION
Open admission to eligible categories, no tuition or ticket
The speakers, experts in this technique, will show the audience the basics of nail dermoscopy and then they will move on showing characteristics of inflammatory nail conditions, infections, tumors and above all longitudinal melanonychia. All the dermoscopy signs will be always presented with their main differential diagnosis in order to provide a full picture of the disease. Images of pediatric and adult nails will be provided as well as images of different skin colors.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Perform a correct clinical diagnosis with the aid of a dermoscope: learners will be able to recognize dermoscopy signs typical of the most common nail disorders (inflammatory conditions, infections and tumors above all) and will be able to make a correct differential diagnosis
Interactive presentations and use of ARS will help the audience to diagnose themselves the presented cases - this should increase their confidence with this diagnostic technique in nail disorders
