In this session we will review real-world pearls for the diagnosis and treatment of pemphigus and pemphigoid with the goal of providing tips that are easy to implement into clinical practice. We will discuss new information regarding mechanisms of disease pathogenesis and how these mechanisms provide rationale for new therapies. We will review the efficacy and safety of both established and newer treatments based on current evidence. Finally, we will present challenging cases that provide important teaching points. At the end of this session the audience will be able to diagnose and treat pemphigus and pemphigoid patients more effectively and confidently.
