A case-based session that focuses on how a physician leader can lead a multi-disciplinary team to innovate while creating a positive work environment in the practice setting. The session will touch on personal development, leadership trajectory, and team building skills. Improvements in the work environment range from increased engagement, improved relationships and increased productivity.
Items covered in the session will include:
• Creating a positive and innovative Culture
• How to get the entire team on board with your vision and goals
• Getting and keeping people (Faculty and Staff) engaged for the long haul
• Making innovation “stick”
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Identify the key attributes of a positive work environment.
Recognize the leader's role in creating and sustaining a positive environment.
Assess your current environment and leadership toolbox, and develop a plan to implement one or two strategies with your team.
