This course will review recent and emerging developments related to the field of cutaneous infections, including both adult and pediatric patients. Emerging viral illnesses, maladies from the southern hemisphere and new-fungal pathogens will be highlighted. Resurgent syphilis will be discussed.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Identify and recognize an emerging fungal infections.
Recognize current pediatric ID threats.
Employ dermoscopy as an ID diagnostic tool.
