DESCRIPTION

Open admission to eligible categories, no tuition or ticket

This session will be a lively, highly interactive discussion of several challenging ichthyosis patients, which have "stumped" one or more of the presenting ichthyosis experts. Audience members will have a unique opportunity to observe how these complex cases are approached by experts in their daily practice, as well as interact with and ask questions of these experts. The audience response system (ARS) will be used to poll the speakers and audience on controversial aspects of the case and demonstrate the range of management approaches. At least one patient advocate from FIRST who is affected by ichthyosis will be present to provide the patient perspective. This activity has been approved by the American Board of Dermatology (ABD) for up to 10 Continuous Certification Program (CCP) Component 2 Self-Assessment points. For more information about CCP, please visit the ABD website at www.abderm.org.
