This session explores classifications of diagnostic errors with case-based examples. Clinical pearls in the diagnosis of challenging medical dermatology cases will be highlighted. Emphasis will be placed on scenarios with the possibility of medical errors. Strategies on how to minimize diagnostic errors will be provided. The goal is to provide practical clinical pearls in order to identify dermatologic conditions that otherwise may be misdiagnosed. The audience will be empowered with the knowledge and tools to more effectively and confidently diagnose cutaneous diseases.
